Vampires Rock 2009 rehearsals and tour...

2009 Winter tour of Vampires Rock was great fun as usual but as is always the case when your on tour it gets so busy you never write it down at the time and now its a bit of a blur to be honest..
Many of the things that stand out now are things that happened on the road aside of the show.
I remember me and the girls got to the Southampton show at 7.45pm for an 8pm show due to the road being closed on the way..not good. Poor chloe was driving and me and Emily literally got our Vamps gear on in the car so we could all dash out and straight onto the stage if need be! That was awful though probably a funny moment looking back as all the audience were going in as we parked the car anywhere and legged it into the building in all states of undress haha!
The scotland tour bus was fun..lots of partying but to make sure i didnt waste my days i went off on little day trips by myself.. I went Inverness castle and museum, Aberdeens art gallery where i experienced the work off Ron Mueck which completely blew me away including his giant baby piece that i must have circled for over half an hour returning 4 times. it even brought me to tears and this is me!! im not very maternal at all but it was so lifelike that even at that size it was so precious and fragile, i think the size just emphasised its vulnerability and the beauty of life..even now im in love with it!
Photobucket
this is the only picture of it i could find..
I also went to some great churchs and cathedrals in dunfermline before spending the whole day getting drunk with two of the locals. it was like a Scottish cheers..I loved it. These things really made the tour for me!
Edinburgh was another highlight and was nice to return since the festival. I went around the shops, the castle, and to Greyfriars church yard which i especially love because of Greyfriars bobby (i even made them all watch the film version on the tour bus- Birdy laughed aty me and also got hooked..mmmn). It was a lovely sunny day so to have a massive walk away from everyone was really refreshing. I even went on a ghost walk alone in the caves.
That was great, i even felt like i was being touched on the calf in one later to hear that that cave inhabits a little boy who often tugs at ladies skirts and legs or holds there hands..bless!! This part of the tour was definately my favourite!
That night we had a very fancy meal in the exquisite restaurant The Dome as the owner invited us all over due to his friendship with Toyah. We all got our glad rags on and enjoyed a sophisticated evening of champagne, beautiful food and dinner conversation before going back to the bus sticking Steel Panther on and turning the lovely evening into one of the most rock n roll of the tour!!
Another major party night was our afterparty in Mansfield at Red where everyone got stupidly drunk and caused chaos..partly due to the bar man setting the bar on fire for laughs, the guys doing shots of tequila and snorting the salt and squeezing the lime in the eye!!! by the time the absinthe came out i think everyone had lost the plot..
Another good one for me was Manchester because my family came to watch, Brighton because i had never been and it was Halloween so the crowd were dressed up and in the mood and Cardiff because I spent alot of time there it feels homely, it was nice to catch up with all my friends down there too and we all went out to party hard. I made most of them come back to my hotel room until check out to carry on resulting in me getting 30 mins in bed before having to drive to Toyah's for dinner feeling very hungover and not very hungry. I can still picture Kitty and Dan when we left them at the hotel looking broken haha Kitty had a corset and fishnets like a call girl first thing in the morning sat on a hotel doorstep..bless her, thats why i love her. By the time we got there and had a bit of fresh air in her beautiful garden I felt loads better. We had a chilled afternoon with her and her husband Robert (Fripp) before the show. Good times.
The Christmas dates round up with a great night in Preston where our fabulous friend Louise did our hair and make up and made us look gorgeous so we made sure she joined us the following night for our charity show at Old Trafford Cricket club held by 'Loose Woman' the very lovely Denise Welch and Tim Healy. That was another glamorous night and met some lovely people in the after party ( the audience was pretty much celebrities other rich high profile people to raise charity money through ticket sales and auctions). Due to the fact i dont really watch tv well not soaps and stuff i was a bit rubbish at recognising anyone really but everyone was lovely anyway. I especially liked Antony Costa, he was a love bless him and it was nice because we got on so well we kept in touch and are still friends now. funny eh..the same with Nick Newbould who I ended up working with. Had a really good time this tour to sum it up...More dates to go in 2010 but so far so good.

Pride Big Weekend- Manchester Aug 30th

Got to perform at the womens space for Manchester's Gay Pride Festival.. there was some great comics on aswell as singers and such-all female of course. There was even a brief appearance from Pussycat dolls-Kimberly Wyatt which was nice because she's my favourite..the one with the leg i call her ( the over split in the videos). We were on before all this which would of been good to watch the show if the typical Manchester rain wasnt so heavy. We decided to cower in the porta cabin backstage not daring to venture out. The show went really well though aside form the weather we still had a lot of sexed up women watching us and shouting there heads off. We performed a 30 minute set of our old favourite numbers and some new solo's before heading off for a mingle and a few drinks in the rainy Canal Street..

Edinburgh Fringe Festival 09 17-22nd Aug

Our very first Edinburgh Festival...wooo!! Monday morning began with me absolutely shattered packing a million and one costumes and props before Kitty (Cointreau) and killian arrived to drive us down. I was pretty unsure what to expect but i was so excited. today was a settle in day,we had no show. We checked in after the drive and it was a great buzz already, the city was rammed. We went for a walk round, dropped some flyers off along with the million other show people flyering before heading to the udderbelly for drinks and a mingle with some comedy greats such as..robin ince and richard herring.. the evening was off to a good start and there seemed to be a genuine buzz about our show with it being burlesque. We were performing at the rowan caves each day at 3.30pm.
Photobucket
outside our cave..

That evening we watched the fantastic duo Frisky and Maninsh which set me off with high expectations of Edinburgh. more drinks continued after before calling it a night.
Tuesday..
Our first show brought many butterflies but we were in good company as today our compare was the very funny, very handsome might i add Pat Monahan- im sure you have all seen him as the regular comic on the Paul O'Grady show if not anywhere else. He did an absolutley fantastic job as did our guest comic for the day, one of my faves the very dry wit of Graham Goring
( think along the lines of Jimmy Carr). the caves were full and everyone enjoyed it very much. I was very proud of us especially as we were one woman down as Scarlet wasnt arriving until that evening. We promptly heading off to celebrate!!
Photobucket
the very talented Pat Monahan

Later that evening I met Scarlet while the rest of them heading over to see Ben Dover- yes that one who was doing a show of some kind there, were opted for the female comedy dou from the states 'Misery Loves Company' who were performing in our caves also..im glad we did as it was a great night and a good opportunity to promote our show too.
Wednesday..
Myself and Scarlet start the day with a wander around town aswell as a drink in the bars by our hotel, we saw Pat on our travels too for a while- he was just on the way to one of his day time gigs for children, we wanted to join him but it clashed with our show..that is the pain of edinburgh there is so much happening and alot of it is at the same time it becomes a real task choosing what to watch. Today we ourselves had two shows our regular slot which was nice and busy again as well as a small set at the Dragonfly later that night- just myself and Scarlet.
Wednesday night round off with the Tiger Lillies who i had been dying to see for along time and they did not disapoint-we had the pleasure of meeting them after also. I recommend you see them while there touring again. We also got stuck watching a very strange 'cabaret' that i just did not get at all and had to escape out of..it was highly acclaimed and getting rave reviews?!!? maybe i just wasnt arty enough for it!!
Photobucket
with the wonderful Tiger Lillies..
Thursday..
(H)eroine for Breakfast was probably a strong thing to start the day with but worth the emotional turmoil i was in after leaving the theatre. Not for a long time have i felt so affected by a piece of new theatre. The four cast members were absolutely amazing as was the script.. very inspiring, i think that is touring also so get yourselves there..
Our show was a bit quiter today but we did have a few faces returned which made us very happy. At night we went to support some of our comic friends on the opposite side of town..Graham Goring and Killian Monson before myself and Scarlet went to see a very disappointing aerial dance show called RAW.. The show's story line was uninspiring to say the least..it was set in a club, had 4 performers-2 guys 2 girls and seemed to be based on pulling and pill popping to bland rave like music only making it almost interesting by its use of bungee's. We came out undecided on wether we enjoyed it or not but as we discussed it we started to rant and realised it was pretty apparent we hadnt. Luckily we were on our way to see fellow burlesquer Ophelia Bitz bless her who was telling life tales mixed up with songs..she had a very small crowd aswell as a big bout of festival flu bless her. i enjoyed it hugely but felt bad for the turn out she got. Such is the festival life i suppose, she was up there for the month and broke, we ourselves were onlt there a week and were rapidly broke also..a nice stroll around town, the castle and the graveyards home ensued before dropping into bed exhausted.

Friday..
show goes really well, so happy the week has worked for us, today were joined by Andy Kind as compare and Danny McGloughlin as our guest comedian. Each day we changed the line up of our routines too, adding different numbers which worked well as it encouraged regular fans for us.
Photobucket
Manc comic Danny Mcgloughlin

Tonight is party night so after the show we get stuck in to getting drunk and having a laugh with all our new comic friends..Kitty new many before as she was a comic for a while and knows the scene pretty well already which also helped.
We headed off to see Pat Monahan again do his show which was brilliant-it was just myself and scarlet as the rest were off to jimmy carr..we bumped into Simon Amstell on the way in also and ended up running late therefore having to sit on the front row which always feels like a danger zone at a comedy night but Pat left us out of the embarrasing crowd participation parts bless him. Another fab night round off in style yet again with The Cuban Brothers who i have seen a few times at festivals and such and i absolutely love them..We had a few drinks, had a boogie and met a few new people too including an artist Davy Macdonald randomely who after meeting us that time decided to paint of picture of us both- brilliant!! The joys of the fringe eh!!
Photobucket
with a cuban brother after their set..
Saturday started with us having to check out of the hotel early with a hangover and very broke after last night..we strolled aroung Greyfriars graveyard and witnessed a very strange going on by the supposedly haunted area involving a dog barking at nothing and strange ors and lights appearing on camera but not to the naked eye!! fantastic!! We sat in the sunshine and chilled out exhausted before doing our final show of the year and sadly our quitest of the week due to so many new shows being on. Enjoy it all the same and infairness we have had a very successful week!! All that is left is to pack up and head home happy and exhausted and say goodby to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for another year!!!

Bloodstock Aug 14th-16th

Myself and Denim head to Derby for Bloodstock Open Air Festival where we are teaming up with Maxima Bunting and her Stunt Girl ladies for some onsite activities..We get there Friday afternoon and get dressed up as dolls and riot kitties to walk around the crown and believe it or not thats as simple as it is..we just have to dress up and enjoy the festival..its a hard life eh?? We wander about, have a lot of drinks, mingle with the crowd and watch some bands. I lost Denim during Saxon unfortunatley because its an in joke she got her name from the very cheesy saxon song 'Denim and Leather' so i was gutted she wasnt there when they sang it! Ah well. We partied for a bit that night but Saturday was the main day. We spent the whole day dressing up and playing out both in the crowd and backstage, we had to pose for all the press backstage and stuff and teamed up with Doc Insane from Circus Insane for drinks and photos

above the girls and doc insane
We only really stopped to watch Apocolyptica who were fantastic and Cradle of Filth who were not really anything special at all and Danny walked off early in a huff so that was that. We spent Saturday night getting very drunk til stupid o'clock and moshing in the karaoke tent. Denim again missed the night time partying because she was ill so she got an early night bless. It also meant we missed most of Sunday as she wanted to leave early but maybe that was best as it was Edinburgh tomo and i hadnt packed at all, not my normal stuff or my costumes so it was going to be a nightmare. I was a bit gutted though as i was looking forward to a bit of Europe..
it's the final countdown........

Aug 12/13th

Wednesday night i teach a burlesque session for my friend and top model Alex Leigh who is running a training school for wannabe models called The Grooming Academy so to help them gain confidence and have fun letting themselves go I was called in to teach them a sexy routine which was great fun. Some of the models are really young so it felt strange at first but the session went down really well and they all loved it, especially Alex who was struggling with parts of the chair routine due to her 6ft long legs haha. We ended the session with a catwalking practice which i had to start- i have never been on one before but loved it!! i hope to getting involved with some charity shows on the catwalk in the future so that should be fun..

Thursday myself and Kitty rehearsed for Edinburgh before i ran off to Ivor- the jazz band leaders house to work on the songs we are doing live in our collaboration.. go through some of the songs which sound great and stick my vocals on top, it's all pretty exciting i think it's going to go really well when it gets up and running.

BBC Radio interview and boys night out..

Myself and Kitty from The Glitter Kittens had an radio interview this afternoon for the bbc which was good fun, we were there to promote our Edinburgh Fringe shows aswell as Pride big weekend as thats what next for us. The interview went well, i have to consiously think about not swearing on the radio haha the fine is huge but luckily i got through it my usual polite self..
Here's the link for the show

Friday night was party night and I went clubbing in Bolton with my bro, his friend Nathan, Pritch, Daint, Hudge and Ade..I hadn't seen the lads for a while so it was a great catch up and long over due. As always we got too drunk but had a right laugh, I think me and Daint got through a good few bottles of red wine and I left the club to head to a bar holding a full bottle of Jack complete with pourer so its safe to say the drinks were flowing. It's always a good night with these guys, i miss them loads so will have to make the effort to meet up more often from now on. All in all a top night that ended around 6am to face the following days hang over...

Audition for MSA Acting School

Monday 3rd of august i had a 2 hour acting audition for the Manchester Acting school which is a 40 week training course, they only run once a year and places are very limited to join the class. in my audition there was around 30 people and that was the first of 3 that evening and 3 for the next 10 days. To cut a long story short i felt it went really well and hoped so much that i would get offered a place. I got an email aug 17th saying i had what it takes to be offered a place and they hoped i would join the course on the wed evening sessions 7-9pm. NOO!! i teach wed at that time and out of the next 40 wednesdays i know for a fact i have 6 vampires rock shows on a wednesday evening so against my will i was gutted to have to turn the place down..gutted. maybe it wasnt meant to be at this time i dont know but im going to look for another class i can take as a drop in to get back involved its just such a shame :(

Walking with Dinosaurs and Leaminton again..

Aug 1st me and my mum took my 8 year old brother to see Walking with Dinosaurs because he's obsessed with TRex and knows everythinh there is to know about Dinosaurs. He loved it and I really enjoyed it, it was done really well! Quite scary and sad at times, they are really amazing and it totally brought on a new interest for me too.

Saturday evening we made the trip to Leamington for the last time to work at Evolve tonight it was a masked ball so a bit more clothing than last time and pretty glam. it was quite hard to dance though in a wig and mask etc i think i lost a stone sweating my ass off. Good night though as always and easy work, the only down side is the drive home and it was my turn and Caroline and Carissa fell asleep so i was all on my lonesome.

Girls week 24th july

Photobucket
Photobucket
me,annie and mag and then with darrel in the village
Ive been looking forward to Friday 24th for ages as my friends from Cardiff Annie and Mag are coming down to stay. I met them both last year when i was in ibiza while i was still with Mathew Pritchard, Annie is his sister in law and Mag was the girlfriend of their friend Paul. Sarah was out with us all too and us girls just really hit it off. I was a bit worried at first when i met Annie as i knew she was very close to Mathew's ex so i hoped she liked me but in the end after a couple of drinks all you can be is yourself and we hit it off perfectly and ended up having a great week, Annie and her husband Adam (Trigg), Mag and Paul, me and Mathew and friend Robert and we have stayed friends ever since even now me and mathew arent together anymore. I see them as much as possible when im down there and stuff but we have never had just a girls night without the boys though i have had many with just the boys so its all exciting to have them come up to Manchester and stay at mine. We had a great weekend, drank lots of wine, had a girls night in and a mad night out, a good day shopping and a meal so we really enjoyed the weekend. i just wished we all lived closer so we could see each other more, i know alot of people doing the job i do and i love being sociable but there are only a few people that really know me and i value as true friends and Annie and Mag are two of those. Thanks for a great weekend girlies!!
The rest of the week was spent burning of that booze, i went to aerial, ballet, pilates and pole as well as taught burlesque and rehearsed with the girls. I had a bit of an impromptu night out with Rachel and Alex from The Grooming Academy Wed night too so all in all it was a great girly week of partying and pampering.

July 13th-18th Stumble circus and Janes Addiction

Busy busy week ahead, im training this week every day 10-5pm with Mish Weaver of Stumble Circus at The Contact Theatre. Its great to get such intense training with such a good teacher and very rare as there is only 6 of us in the group but mainly myself and Becky (the only 2 girls) attend every session so we get loads out of it. Monday we focus on balance so play lots of games with various equipment-including each other which is really good fun, we also play with weight transference in pairs, groups and solo's, today is also my first time on the tightwire and its fair to say im pretty hooked..another obsession to add to the list! we round off today with a private aerial tutorial for me and Becky so we go over everything we know and perfect it with Mish's feedback. I then have to head to Zion arts centre to rehearse with the guys from Damaged Gods to teach them bits of choreography for the up coming shows. I finally get home arong 9.30pm shattered but driven.
Tuesday and Wednesday is pretty much spent on the trapeze and the rope which is great because aerial is my favourite,we also work on handstands, jumps, cartweels and acro balance so i come away with loads of knowledge and new inspiration for creation.
Tuesday night was a biggie also, went to see Jane's Addiction at the MEN with my brother, sister and my mum. They were supporting Nine Inch Nails who i have never seen before and were very impressive live but Janes are my love so i was there for them. They were fantastic though the sound was a bit shoddy and i was beside the stage so had to look through the side lights which was really annoying other than that they rocked like they were fresh and loving it and i remembered why i love them and why i worship Dave Navarro. We didnt get to meet the band or anything this time,I was very good and headed straight home to feel fresh for circus training in the morning.
Thursday was more aerial training and lift work, standing on shoulders etc. it's great because today me and becky are joined with a new guy Oliver who is a pretty similar level and is very strong so we have another person to play on and we can try more stuff so a great day. After contact i go to the garret pub for a meeting of sorts with Cat one of the new Glitter Kittens to discuss flyers and promo stuff for edinburgh as her friend Graham Goring is designing them for us bless him. he does a fab job too.
Friday we start the day with Mish's talk on 'What is circus in 2009' which i find really interesting, it's funny because she mentioned Terry in her talk too, small world eh! Iget some feedback on career possibilities and feel all together more positive. in the afternoon we get to choose a piece of equipment to creat on so i get stuck in with the tightwire, i know its going to be a challenge but thats why i go with it and it works out really well. so much so that mish lets me borrow it and take it home-i still have it now!
Saturday rounds up the week with another trip to Leamington to work for Evolve-this time the theme is beach party so were all in red baywatch style outfits which is great inside because we dont even have to dance just pretend to be on the beach and laze around but outside its freezing-not the best outfit for a cold saturday night-a red swimsuit and roller boots but hey this is the weird and wonderful life i lead eh..

July 6th-11th York/Moho gig

More ballet and trapeze in sheffield then work at Opus with Caroline for their monday night 90's night and some bag dancing!! you have to see it to believe it!! great fun.
Photobucket
caroline-getting in the bag..
Tuesday have a rehearsal with Erin one of my new girls then watch Michael Jackson's memorial on tv and have a lttle cry..RIP. I cant quite believe it,he was my idol growing up and a true legend and lets be fair in this day and age they are rarer than ever before, x factor, big brother, britains got talent and all those other money making machines churning out pointless 'stars' makes sure of that. The only good thing to come from this is everyone is remembering how good his music was, playing it again and enjoying him for that instead of the gossip and rumours that haunted him while he was with us. He will lways be one of the biggest stars of our time if not the biggest and he will be sadly missed.
Continue the week with the usual training, teaching etc and take Stella my pup to be neutered which brings a whole new nightmare to my flat as she has a lamp shade on her head hence lots of bruises on my legs and a frustrated dog. Not the best and its for 10 days!!
Friday me and Caroline headed to York for my first gig of the evening- the stag do booked by his fiance bless her. We were planning the evening with the best man so had to perform in the bar they were in, very strange but in the end it worked out well and was probably the easiest paid gig we have ever done. We got in,set up, performed a 2 minute chair routine as a suprise, had a quich chat and left. Perfect and everyone was happy. the stag was very polite and shy bless him and a little suprised his fiance had booked us, i think he was afraid to enjoy it so maybe we should have told him that before we did it! I then drove us back to Manchester with no petrol and no services which was pretty scary. We were a mile away from the garage when the car started jumping and slowing down aargh!! we did make it though luckily but it was funny and we were convinced we was going to stop a mile away with it in sight just to piss us off but luckily no. i dropped cal off and headed home to change bags and meet bex to go to my second gig at MOHO in manchester for a band night.
The venue is pretty quiet with more people in bands than people watching which is disapointing as some of my new girls are doing the show with us, tonight we have myself, scarlet, denim and new girls rachel, erin aka baby jane and kerry. we do have fun though and its a good test run with not much pressure for the girls in front of the small crowd. We enjoy a few drinks with friends that had come down before calling it a night.
Photobucket
me and my girls at MOHO

July,

Start the week working in Leamington Spa for Evolve nightclub and teaching a hen party. The hen bless her also booked us to perform as a suprise for her stag this friday which is pretty cool i think. Anyway the Leamington gig is through Caroline so more a podium/promo thing rather than a kitten show so spend the evening roller skating and having a laugh before dancing the night away with caroline and her crew.
Photobucket
Also get stuck into training again, lots of ballet, trapeze, gk rehearsals, teaching etc. Also catch up with my friend Liam after about a year which is terrible we leave it so long but we have a good catch up and lots of booze and gossip while putting the world to rights with our own fuzzy logic. Also teach a rock burlesque workshop this week, meet with the jazz band about our collaboration and round off the week with another Leamington night-this time mardi gras themed which is good fun-lots of feathers and maracas but dont get home until 5am so just enough time for a few hours sleep before we leave for our gig with Damaged Gods at the Urban Games in Telford.
Scarlet drives luckily so i can chill although we do get lost.. get to the skate park around 3pm but still have time to run routines and mingle. A couple of our friends from Ever The Joker- Steve and Darrell are there so have a beer with them before our set. the gig goes great, my sister Dahlia filmed it all so will have to get some footage up soon. We stick around to watch winnebago deal and have a chill with the gang before heading off home to finally get some food and catch up on sleep.

Take That/Blur

Tuesday 23rd Take That..
My musical tastes are extremely schizophrenic i realise but i am excited about seeing Take That at the cricket club, I must of been around 17 last time i saw them which makes me feel old. I keep meaning to see them this time around but im always too busy, im lucky enough to have a free ticket today too which is always a bonus because im always broke. The stage set is fantastic for a start so you can tell this is a going to be a good show! I am actually excited when it starts like a big kid! I dont have a favourite member or anything like that but they have always blown me away as a live band and watching them as an adult i can definately see the influence they have had on my own work and style in choreographer. wow!! i would love to be a take that dancer.. The show was great and their northern charm won everyone over, even all the husbands who pretend to be dragged along. The new songs are really good too and even Jason sings this time round accompanied by himself and mark on guitar, gary on piano and howard on drums..awesome! the only rubbish thing about tonight was the 2 hours it took me to get home (10mins away) because of the traffic which was a million times worse as i was desperate for a wee but all in all a great night out. I will definatley be there again next time round!

Blur 26th June..
Aerial practice again then me and my sister Dahlia head off to the MEN to see Blur, another band from my teens. I loved Blur when i was at school and the second they come on i remember why. they are so much more than song 2, country house and park life and i think they proved that to the people who came for that sort of stuff while keeping the fans happy with blasts from the past including theres no other way, the universal, shes so high, this is a low, to the end, no distance left to run, coffee and tv etc etc. I loved every minute of it and sang myself hoarse. Phil Daniels even joined them for Parklife! Brilliant.

More Britney, partying,gigs and premiers..

Wednesday 17th June...

Got VIP for Britney's show again at the MEN in Manchester. Im teaching my burlesque class as the ladies have a class performance tomo so were having a last run through before show time but it means i have to zoom across town for the show and get in just as Terry goes on stage for the intro, phew, that was close. Really enjoy the show tonight even though im by myself, got a side of the stage view this time which makes a difference and even though im not really into Britney at all i had a great time. Straight after i head home to change and stuff while Terry does the usual after show rituals so we can meet later on. I eventually hear from him around 1am and he's finally ready-guys are worse than girls i swear! I head to meet him and some of the other dancers/crew from the show and its good to see that Mouse one of my good bboy mates who i havent seen for ages is out too. We waste the night wandering around town looking for somewhere to drink as its getting late and everyone is refusing entry..rubbish! We lose the extra dancers/crew who give up, being from LA and such places they probably didnt miss too much by not partying in Manchester anyway. In the end we decide its a lost cause too and part ways with Mouse and his mate and me and Terry decide its probably best to have our own little party at the hotel with some booze from spar so thats what we do and have a great time. Rock n Roll eh..

It all went really well and i was proud of my ladies!

The Friday was spent having a trapeze practice then off for my bridesmaid make over practice, i have never been one before. Tonight was spent getting drunk and being pampered..great stuff!
Saturday 19th..
Mark Mcready and the Arcangel Murders premier at Revolution tonight, i did a small part in the movie as a she snake, not seen the film before but its really funny and i really enjoy it despite my screen time being around 20 seconds ;) i do close the film though so all good eh. Get drunk on champagne and cocktails with the cast and crew and stagger home pretty late.

Lazy day on Sunday, go to the park with the dog and chill out, meant to be meeting Terry but he's busy re packing so leaving that until tomo now before he runs off for the european leg of the tour and thats pretty much how the weekend rounds up!!

this was my favourite day hence the reason its more of a blur but i know we watched hardcore superstar and i was already a mess..met a cool guy who looked like a young mick jagger who we adopted. Good times..Manson, the prodigy, pendulum, anvil, but best of all slipknot rocked amongst others that day- the only sad thing was it went so fast. We missed an hour or so waiting for steel panther hq to meet us with flyers and tshirts etc not that it was wasted as we sunned ourselves, infact everyone thought i had been on holiday when i got back.
Before we knew it it was sunday :( the last day was spent mainly doing promo and hanging out. Steel Panther rocked the afternoon and probably should have been on a bigger stage. Our hardwork had helped of course ;)
