Charleston Evening
Tuesday 19th May- The Rags To Bitches vintage clothing shop in Manchester had a little event in a 20's theme including make overs in the shop and a Charleston demonstration before heading over to Cord for cocktails and a bit of charleston dancing thanks to Terry and Pam from Katz-korner teaching us the basics. We had a good laugh and 7 of us kittens attended for a dance, a make over and of course a few cocktails!

may 14th- 17
Thursday
Tonight I had a private gig for Magic Sam's birthday party in chorley at the Imperial. My sister Dahlia came with me to take pictures and we had a really good night, there was 2 cool bands on- The Heartbreaks and orphan boy so check them out aswell as Chris Cross the mental contortionist, so i was in good company! I did two solo's, one to the pink panther theme tune and a striptease en pointe to Glitter by Motley Crue..all was good and Sam seemed to have fun as did everyone else..
Friday
Did all the usual stuff, pay bills, go for a run with the dog, do my washing then in the evening go to see the Vamps lot in Meatloaf the Symphony- its basically the touing stage show of Meatloaf songs with a full orchestra onstage which is wicked..makes a really big difference, i dont even really like Meatloaf but the show is good!! After we all went out for drinks in town and had a good catch up, some of the orchestra came too so it was nice to get to know them. We ended up in Jillys til 5.30am somehow, me, emily, ben and birdy were dancing like nutters to all the rock anthems completely wasted but it was great fun! not so good to come out of the club in daylight- reminded me of ibiza..cant wait to get back there and party!! All in all a good party night with the gang..
Saturday
After a few hours sleep i get up and do the usual park routine with stella my dog, feel rough because hardly slept the past two nights so decide to stay in until Alex Kidd texts and tempts me into a party night. not needing much persuasion I agree..I have a day off tomo and it would be good to see him so head home,get ready and chat to Rachel who's already out so head to meet her in Kro with all her party guy mates! Had a great laugh dancing and being silly and watching the lads treat us to some burlesque. End up going to theirs for a pre party warm up before Sankeys and once Andy gets the dressing up box out and the dj is pumpin we lose track of time dressing up and laughing at each other. Basically to cut along story short I never got to meet Alex which was a shame because thats why I went out but we did have a great night and I headed home at 7.30am the next morning to walk the dog and watch crap tv all day and drink wine with my brother as there was no point in bed at that stage.

may 9/10th
Had a week keeping fit and walking the dof, rehearsing with the girls and teaching so by weekend i was in need of a chill. Did a cool photoshoot with chloe on the friday il stick some below..anywat a gig got booked in for saturday last minute in Leeds at a club called Superna. Myself and Cat are doing the gig so we head to the club for 11pm only to find out they know nothing about a burlesque show and have nowhere for us to dance. It ended up the easiest gig ever as all we had to do was walk around the club in costume and have a night out until 1ish when I decided to dance on the window ledge by the entrance to get the crowd going for 20 mins. All worked out well enough just felt too easy but hey. Got home too late to be up early tomo but thats the story of my life.
Sunday was fun run time-only a mile so easy but after a few hours sleep i debate not bothering but drag myself out of bed and head to the park to meet caroline. We do the run for Childrens Cancer Research and feel better about ourselves for getting up and doing it. I vowe to run 3 times a week from then on which so far im sticking to more or less!!

May 3rd Stoke/Liverpool Gigs
Leave London after 3 hours sleep and all head back to Warrington a little worse for wear bless chris for being a superstar and staying sober last night and driving back!! Pick my car up early afternoon from Carolines where Kai one of her huskys decides to e=water my car and have a wee on my door!! cheers :) Get home take Stella my dog out before getting ready for 2 glitter kittens sets tonight.
Cat comes round as shes doing the first show in stoke with me..her first kittens show!!
We drive down and get to Revolution to meet Livid the band that have booked us out for there private album launch. We mingle and start to get ready in the ladies, very glam before myself and cat take to the stage to do a duet and a solo each to 3 tracks off their album for the crowd as a suprise. It goes down great and everyone is lovely but we have to dash to make our Liverpool show so we stay around to get pictures taken with everyone then leggit.
Get to Liverpool around 10.30 after having a wee in a bush,also very glam, it got to the point on the way where it was either that or wet myself so what do you expect!?! We find the venue after parking due to cat's cool sat nav on her mobile that works for pedestrians, awesome!!
Get to the venue and settle in our small dressing room with the riot girls for some chaos as there is 8 of us squeezed into a mound of bras and booze!! cool girls though so have a laugh despite were billed as a battle.
We take to the stage at around midnight to do a set each before my old mate Zombina rocks the crowd with the Skeletones, i genuinely love this band and its great to see her again, its been ages. they are awesome and the new songs are really catchy and fun, good to have them back and this is our first gig with them too so all good!!
after there set ourselves and the riot girls do one more show each before the night draws to an end after 3 hours sleep im impressed i manage to work hard and party hard until 4 am, wow, getting in bed was so good after a non stop week of travelling, performing and partying, it actually made me smile i think.

Pink O2 Arena London May 2nd 09
Got up very excited as tonight we have been invited down to London to see Pink so pack, walk the dog, do my emails and head to Warrington to meet Caroline and Chris for a road trip in style thanks to chris driving us down in the bmw. We had a packed lunch and a very classy selection of wine and strongbow which we decided would be even cooler if we drank it with pink straws haha anyway we get to london later than planned and panic as we have to check into the hotel and change before getting a cab to the 02 and time is ticking. We eventually get to the arena just before she goes on which is potentailly a nightmare as her very lovely bodyguard marcel is sorting us out with vip and has to come collect us which he obviously cant do if hes taking pink to the stage..we panic and eventually get hold of him as she takes to the stage..and breathe!! stress over he comes out to get us where we get walked straight to beside the stage as its sold out so we cant have a seat.. who needs one this is as good as it gets unless your on stage with her!! marcel..what a star!! We have the best time ever and even get to watch the show chillin on her stage bed for a while, brilliant..Shes absolutely awesome and for someone who isnt a hardcore fan of hers i strongly recommend you see the show, the stage, the costumes and her overall sickeningly endless talent will thrill and amaze you from start to finish. i am definately a fan now, i was in awe..mainly because of her skills on the trapeze and silks while singing might i add!!

What the Butler Saw..Rock april 30th
off to Cardiff on the train, i cant wait to get back its been ages since i was down, Annie my good friend who i never get to see enough met me at the station and we popped to a bar for a good catch up and a couple of drinks before heading to minski's to meet the gang. Had a catch up with Kitty, Lolly and Dan etc before the night got started,me and annie got stuck in to the champers, great fun, many tipsy shenanigans followed and i was treated to a backstage dance off annie..
i took to the stage to perform a sort of phantom/jack the ripper type striptease to Scream by Avenged Sevenfold which i loved every minute of, minksis is great for a good vibe a great stage where you can interact with the audience. Kitty did a fab job to Marilyn Manson and looked like a sexy baseball gal very Warriors. Once all the wonderful ladies had finished all there was left to do was get smashed and party the night away so we headed off to buffalo to do just that til stupid o clock, i got to bed at 8.30am so enough said!!

end of april glitter kittens auditions
the end of the month mainly focused on me getting more girlies to join the troupe so many auditions took place at Opus in the printworks and the result was we now have 12 kittens!!woo.. thanks to all the girls who tried out, it was great fun. So there you go were bigger than ever so watch this space.
