sunday..

Wake up after 3 hours sleep at 6.30 to meet Emily for our LA trip. I think im too tired to be excited now and it only starts sinking in as we head to the airport. This is Emily's first time in the US so it's good to see she's all excited and in disbelief she's going. We do the usual stuff like checking in and suprisingly my huge case isn't overweight for a change, grab breakfast and a couple of pints, yes pints!! i know its only about 8.30 am but i hate flying and this calms me down and prepares me for the long one ahead. Eventually we get on the dreaded flight but as its quiet we get a row of chairs each to sleep which is good news as i have to sleep to distract myself from the fact im on a plane. It wasnt actually a bad journey and it went fairly quick.

To cut a long trip short we arrive on hollywood boulevard around 9pm with our cases and with our cases. We got a giant slice of pizza saw Jack Sparrow the sexy lookalike who's always here then decided to sit in the snow white cafe for a drink as it has a nice little outdoor seating area thats great to sit, enjoy a beer and watch the freaks but unfortunately when we get there this little feature has gone, must be a new law which is a shame. We had a couple of drinks and got chatting to a cool guy who was a pro skateboarder for a while, i like that about LA, everyone just chats to everyone, there so used to networking that swapping contact details with practical strangers is normal. Emily got chatted up by a homeless woman dressed as a clown, yep you read that right, only in hollywood!! After a while we decided to head to the hotel and check in as we were pretty shattered and jet lagged and it was around midnight so it was probably the sensible option if we were going to get stuck in tomorrow!! We sat at the bus stop waiting to get back and got invited on a party bus with a load of cool rockabilly guys but had to decline due to our luggage for a start, it was a good looking motor though. We made yet another friend, nick, who worked in the music industry and was shoveling a giant hotdog in his face while getting to know his, he gave us his number and said to call if we wanted to party or hangout. Living in LA feels like each day has 5 british days crammed in it, i think thats why i love it so much because theres so many possibilties and adventures each day!

Monday

Wake up early ish and head to Santa Monica beach for a few hours of tanning ourselves, we grab a good english meal for some reason as if we dont have enough of those at home in an english pub and settle down on the pier to watch the sunset, its gorgeous, theres dolphins swimming close by and swallows dropping into the sea for fish. All the fishermen were out and we sat by a palm reader and two very rich looking swedish business men that were chatting to a homeless man in a wheel chair. it wasnt long before we were included in their discussions i guess bridging the gap in the teo opposing worlds. Homeless people in LA seem to have a totally different attitude than over here, i dont know if its the fact the weather is nice so its not too unbearable but they all chat and seem happy enough, they all look out for each other and i think the attitude towards them is a lot more positive, they get free bus rides and people dont try to avoid eye contact and pretend its not real like over here and thats great. We headed home and on the way got chatting to two french guys julian and hamid who were staying around the corner to us, one was a screenwriter and the other an actor who were out here for a couple of months to make contacts and get work. We got changed and left for sunset strip, we were in the street making friends with more homeless people when Dave my friend from over here picked us up and took us to the cat club. its better going with dave because he works here so we get to go in the back way free of charge and get drunk for free but even better than that hes a cool guy and a really good friend for me over here now. We meet my other friends in there, Anthony (him and dave are in a band called the trophy wives, i danced wth them at their viper room gig last time i was out here) and ian who is from england so we can make fun of the americans and bully them while hes not on his own. hes in a band called the idyllists and both are really good.. Sunset is there also who is my burlesque LA twin, she has her hollywood kittens and we are kind of the same people on each side of the pond. its great to see her and catch up, we all have a few drinks and watch the performers while constantly being introduced to people and bumping into people i met last time and stuff. the time flies and before we know it its midnight, we want to go to the key club so i can show emily the steel panther show (formerly metal skool) the 80's spoof rock show out there. Anthony gets us vip entry and they give me free drinks for everyone too as its my b'day so bonus!! We head in and go straight to the balcony because its rammed which is the vip area but i prefer the downstairs bet so half way through we make our way round the back of the venue and sneak in to front row, very naughty, abusing power and that haha. The show was awesome as always, they had joe fatone of nsync up singing rock songs with them, the dude from my name is earl was stood by us aswell as endless musicians and sexy ladies. i love hollywood its so cheesy its like living in a film for a while. They sang Were not gonna take it by Twisted Sister which reminded us of Eddie as well as all the favorites. When the how ended at 2 am we headed back to the cat club to get smashed after hours before going back to hotel with dave and anthonyfor a jam session and more booze. They played guitars while emily sang with them, i even got a birthday song as it was officially my bday now which was nice. i started getting texts from the uk which was cool too!! thanks everyone for my texts and facebook messages!! emily went to bed at about 5 and we sat talking about music and me living here finally until 7.30am where i decided to call it a day as i didnt want to waste my bday hungover in bed!!







Tuesday

i jump out of bed at 8.30am after an hours sleep and decide we should go to the beach while im still drunk so we dont miss the sun!! me, emily and oliver our new aussie friend go for a macky d's breakfast (hangover food) and then me and emily headed to venice beach where i just about got to before crashing out. at least now im getting a tan and fresh air while i sleep!! venice beach is the coolest place ever, i love it!! jim morrison lived here and they have a long painting of him on the side of the building he lived on ocean blvd. its so hippyish and stuck in the 60's its so me, all crazy and rock n roll and it has the best book store ever too as well as muscle beach which is no good for me but if you like perving on big toned greasy men its perfect!

we grab a burrito and watch the skateboarders in the sun before strollong to santa monica as the sun goes down. i lay down for a while when we got back but oliver and emily was chatting in the room so i never slept, in the end they persuaded me to get ready and we hit Canters just a block away to see my friend Morty and his band, well its more a bluesy jam session with all these cool band members from hugely successful groups. its a nice chilled atmosphere and i get drunk again thanks to morty on very strong brandy's and beer. Emily even got on the mic for quick impromptu singing which was cool bless her. This is the place that guns n roses had there first photo shoot, the famous pic of them in a booth sat around a table like in a diner is here and it has loads of rock n roll history, its a jewish deli and had great food 24 hours a day. At the end of the night i say my goodbyes and meet the keyboardist for foo fighters who invites me to his house party friday which would be great but we have already decided to go to vegas then which is a shame. hopefully next time! we stop by the 7 11 for food and get invited to party by a stranger called loren who gives her number also and says to call if we wanna hang out in the week!! its a strange little town sometimes!!



Wednesday

We spend the first half of the day hiring and collecting our car before driving all over showing emily all the tourist and cool hangout spots.. the strip, beverley hills, star homes, hollywood blvd aswell as all the cool shopping areas and stuff before grabbing pizza in frankie n johnnies on sunset. i always eat here,its pretty cheap and right by all the best clubs and the wall is signed by all the big stars that eat there, you really cant escape fame in hollywood but then i guess thats why you go. dukes is also a cool place to eat on that part of the street if you ever visit. we then went in hustler for a bit of shopping and met andy who works there and thinks everything is 'totally awesome'. to be fair he is right, the glass dildos are so good i want one as an orniment on my dining table except there $400 easy. they even have a vibrator you can connect to your ipod that reacts to the music..very temting though maybe hard house or slipknot and my usual music is too much for one it would be good to try out! this time we leave empty handed as its a quick visit and we need to get ready to go out. when we get to the hotel julian and hamid are waiting for us, we catch up with them and it ends up there going to come to vegas and join us on our roadtrip which will split costs and stuff. we invite them on our travels tomo and they head out to meet friends.

At night we stop by the cat club to see dave then the rainbow for a chillout, some wine and a good gossip just me and em, this is the first night to ourselves as oliver joined us last night so we have a good chin wag until some annoying bloke stands next to me at the bar and opens with the line 'can i get a girls opinion on something?' now you dont kid a kidder and straight away i know hes playing the game as in the tactical aproach to pulling girls by following a set of rules made by its originator and discussed in the book 'the game' by neil strauss. i decided to let emily fall for it and see how he got on because i know shes lovely and will talk to anyone genuinely. he was playing it and his dilema was a supermodel he met that he wants to ask out is broke but hes loaded to does he take her out and pay even if she only wants him for his money.. lame!!! i gave him every block i knew and played him at his own game even fucking up his work with a wing man which i was very proud of. in the end he was stuck for words and we left for the cat club to hang out with dave and ian to get smashed with some normal guys. after a few hours in an absolute mess drinking giant LA sized shots of whisky and jeagar and monster dave dropped us home and we fell into bed somehow!! great fun.



Thursday

Another day trip in the car day, we sort it out so that julian can drive the car too and we head to the hollywood sign in the hot sun!
After a photo session and a stroll around we drive to the beach to chill down there for the sunset, its a bit chilly tonight so after dark we wander aound the pier and drive back and chill in the guys hotel for a while and meet all the people they ave got to know there. after a couple of hours planning vegas and booking our hotel and eating the best veggie burger ive ever had we head to ours to freshen up before deciding to go for a night drive as we cant have a night out,were leaving for vegas too early so we go up mulhollanddrive for the best view of the city and end up getting almost lost in sherman oaks miles away. we asked the cops if we were heading the right way and witnessed them give out a dui, the young guy who was driving ended up hangcuffed over the car with a bag over his head??! never seen anything like it before and it was a bit creepy to be honest. we got back to the hotel about 1am and got some sleep so we would be ready to leave for vegas at 8am.

Friday

julian and hamid met us at 8.30 as we were late as usual!! it was a nice day for a raodtrip so after grabbing some supplies we headed onto the freeway for our 5 hour journey, emily too the first hour before i took over all the way to Ghost town, Calico.

End of December and new years eve!!

A lazy one on, go for food with Denim in Liverpool and chill out before heading home. Met Scarlet on monday for a drink and discussed plans for 09 with the show and our travels etc as well as another good catch up. Tuesday was snowboarding again as it was become a good habit by getting there early in the week and getting me in the mood to stay fit for the rest of the week, usually after a party weekend. Had a really good session today too, for some reason it started off really bad, i started to think i was still drunk after the holiday partying but once i got back into it i had a good one. Went to my mums again for a little bit before getting home to try have an early night in preparation for a mad one tomo. End up staying at my mums and watching films with my bro and sister.

New Years Eve..

Drag myself out of bed as i never got an early night after all and head home to pack for tonight, i'm celebrating new years eve in cardiff so i get ready and as Emily is coming along wait for her to pick me up. It's nice to have company going down there for a change and even better to not be driving thanks to em. We get to cardiff and look for our hotel as we have to stay in a hotel this time around (long story but some not great stuff had happened last minute and plans changed).
Sadly kitty wouldnt be joining us tonight but we got our glad rags on ready to head to What the Butler Saw in one of my fave haunts Buffalo Bar. Me and emily grabbed a cab and headed there to watch the show, Dan's band and get smashed before heading to Liquid to meet the gang for a rave before midnight. Had a right laugh and got pretty tipsy mingling with the burlesque crowd and having a dance. At about 11 we decided we better leg it to Liquid quick or else we would miss the count down so zoomed over there. Met Mathew and Trigg outside and went up to meet everyone else, it was so good to see everyone, Annie and Mag were there so we had a big girly greeting, it was so good to see them and Paul and Rob again- the big party posse. On top of that Aled, Nat and Kwam was out too so it was even better than i thought, one big reunion and mash up!! woo!! All the girls got dancing on the table to get the party started, had a bit of a dance and silly half hour with Aled before regrouping to get ready to countdown to mignight, Maf was on the mic 'ogi ogi ogi'ing' as usual haha and Lisa Lashes was in the booth ready for countdown that me and Annie almost missed yapping away, we had a big mad moment at midnight with hugs and well wishes galore it was awesome and with that it was 2009!! I've had so many amazing ups this year, great experiences with my career getting better and better and travelled on so many amazing adventures, also this year i've made some great mates that i hope i will have forever as well as get closer to existing friends and on top of that a guy i had great times with and many mad funny moments that i wont ever forget.I've learnt alot this year about life,love and myself and i feel ready for 2009 in a strong, focused and happy place. Unfortunately the year ended with a heartache i wasn't prepared for and it was a tough time but there's no point feeling hurt or bitter, life throws these things at you sometimes and i dont want to sound unemotional but sometimes you just have to get on with it and try to turn the experience into a positive learning curve rather than spreading any further hurt or anger.
Anyway with that said it was a new year and Lisa Lashes brought it pounding in in style. Most of the gang moved on to Soda bar at about 2 but we thought it was best to stay in the club and dance the night away!! Great night and a hard one for but i got through it and had fun and felt proud of myself at the end of it. Me and Emily got a cab back to the hotel and decided to drunkenly call it a night at 6am as we had to check out by twelve that day although i couldnt sleep so had to watch robotward on tv.
Suprisingly i didnt feel too rough when i woke up and me and Emily went for a stroll around Cardiff bay to clear the lungs and grab some food while laughing at the pix from the night before. Eventually we had to set off for home which was a shame, i love Wales, i always have, maybe its because i have family roots there but i love going back as often as i can especially as i have so many friends and ties down there.
Well Happy New Year everyone here's to a rockin 2009!! A year of excitement, adventure and success for all us i hope..

December 27th KrazyhousePart 2

Get to the venue and get escorted to the dressing rooms, the club is rammed which is great, played here before and it was such good fun last time, its mad because that was about 2 years ago now!! Get ready upstairs in the managers room then around 1am get escorted to the stage with the big announcements were about to go booming through the massive sound system, there's a big buzz because there's gonna be a performance and i'm really excited. we have a huge crowd gathered thankfully so as the first 15 minute set of the night happens the response is brilliant, me and denim do a duet,two solo's then end that set with with another duet. It went really well but seemed to be over in a second. We grabbed our clothes and props and got taken back to the room to change for the second set. After a quick change and break we popped downstairs with a security guy to get Emily and Chloe in the club as they have come to the show after the vamps gig. Gutted they missed 1st set i directed them in and got ready to take to the stage again. We were both doing two new numbers tonight as well as an old duet so this set was particularly exciting for me! i was doing a Jack the Ripper routine to Avenged Sevenfold's Scream and Denim was doing a sexy, firey number to Kid Rock's So Hot, usually performed slightly differently by Sarah. Again it went well and with that all that remained was to get dressed, get drunk and dance the night away rockin out like crazy kids!! Me and Denim jumped about in the crowd til around 4 then went for a pizza to take back to hers and sat in her house drunk and feeding our faces before bed. What a great day, i was shattered by the time i got to bed around 5.30am!!

December 27th Echo Arena Part 1

Back to work today with the best possible start after the holidays!! Got two big gigs tonight starting with the first at Echo Arena in Liverpool!! woo,cant wait. Get my stuff together and head off late afternoon for the venue, as its a one off gig im making my own way there so its not very good when some pathetic police man pulls me follows me through the tunnel in liverpool slowly before flashing and pulling me over, as i couldn't stop in the toll line i crossed the road to pull over on the other side in the bay..bad move apparently, he then gets me out of the car like ive just done a hit and run and talks to me like a piece of shit, when he was pulling me over for my broken break light i illegally crossed over a road that had a no u turn sign apparently, also in front of the toll meaning i dodged the toll charge too!! wow, what is he on..stupid dick, obviously the robbers and murderers in the city weren't worthy of chasing with crimes like this going on in the city..jesus!! he lectured me and wrote me a ticket which took the best part of half an hour writing down details of my build and clothing on my ticket but not my crime!! aargh!!things like this make me mad,i dont get mad often either but when you get spoken to like a criminal even when against all instincts you remain polite while people get away with actual crimes its infuriating.The result was a fine anyway suprise suprise, the whole police, government and council is just one big money scam, its all one big con..anyway rant over.. i finally get on with my travels late now and get to the arena, park the car and with all my show stuff and prezzies iv'e got for the girls tooked in my arms everyway possible i struggle to find the entrance to the arena, after a mile trek in the wrong direction i finally make it in-the wrong entrance might i add and get escorted through the huge building with loads of security codes like Madonna. This is more like it haha. It's great to see everyone and we all have a quick catch up then swap presents and have a second xmas day before going to Toyah's room to deliver hers and watch her open them, she was very prepared and got her's to us before xmas, she loved her gifts anyway which was great. After all the excitement and buzz of presents and the size of the venue we grab some food have a glass of wine and chill in our dressing rooms until the show. Denim is watching tonight which is cool and before i know it its showtime!!
The show was amazing, the huge crowd was such a buzz and the sheer size of the stage was awesome, such good energy on stage because we were all so glad to be back, what a work out ha. The dressing rooms were miles away which was a stress as we have so many costume changes during the show so we brought them to the corridor and did most changes there.All in all what a show, Vampires Rock ended 08 with a bang for sure!! it all ran smoothly, sounded and looked fantastic. when your used to doing the show and working with the same people so closely you vibe off each other so get a real sense of someone having a bad gig or not feeling it etc but tonight we were all abng on it and it was electric.
After the show we sat on a long table for a signing which is always interesting cos you meet all sorts of people, as it was such a huge show the que was never ending, we felt like superstars, denim wasn't allowed backstage so had to que with the crowds bless her to get to me but she loved the show so all good. we went back to grab my stuff and zoomed off straight after the signing to get to the second gig of the night for me at Krazyhouse a three storey rock venue . Rock on..

xmas week!!

Monday is xmas shopping day which i planned to do in cardiff before the booze won me over, i did really well today though and pretty much completed the task..
Tuesday went snowboarding again, need something to excite me especially as trapeze isnt on for xmas, next year im getting regular practice with trapeze, snowboarding, breakin and running and stuff. its hard to keep it up on tour cos im never home the same days but im definately going to give it a good go. Let it all slip a bit with touring and partying recently so a bit of balance is needed me thinks.
wednesday Xmas Eve.. denim comes over to catch up and rehearse for our show on the 27th at Krazyhouse, Liverpool, the glitter kittens are doing the afterparty for the Vampires rock show were doing first at the Echo Arena, im so excited about doing a full arena gig, done them before for one number with bands and such but never a full show where they are all there for that reason, i cant wait!! At night get absolutely smashed with my other bro Nathan in town, both stagger home at 4am ish after much drinkning and dancing in the village and drop into bed dreading having to wake up and eat xmas dinner...oops.
Xmas Day.. got up late morning and got ready, got my present together and headed to my mums for a great big family get together, lots of food and drink and chatting to my ace soundtrack of lisa lashes new album haha, not really dinner table music but they loved it.. spent the night drinkning,catching up, playing deal or no deal and guitar hero drunk before chilling out to Gavin and Staceys xmas special and that was it over for another year.
Boxing day
Watch movies and laze around until late afternoon when i went to the pub with Scarlet for a chilled drink and gossip. Dont see her as much at the moment because were always busy but its great when we do. Chilled at night and packed my show stuff for 2 gigs tomo!! no rest for the wicked..

monday 15th-21st dec Party Week!! Xmas countdown.

Monday is a chilled one for me, go to my mums and catch up with my family and stuff, speak to matt and emily on the phone and basically do nothing, get excited about heading to LA with Em for my b'day in Jan!!
Tuesday decide to go snowboarding because xmas is lazy and im determined not to get unfit, at night Denim comes over as we have a Glitter kittens set at the Roadhouse in Manchester tonight, its just podium dancing burlesque style for a dance night called Sex With Robots so should be easy and fun. Catch up with Denim and speak to Kitty and Dan and Mag in Cardiff on the phone as im back down there tomo, walk to the venue as its not far from my flat and sit in the dressing room getting ready and having a couple of drinks. Take to the stage around 12.30 am and get our groove on, love every minute, its a really intimate,sweaty venue so its not used to podium dancers so it went down a treat. We have done proper Gk shows here a few times and its a legendary venue, I remember seeing Muse here when they were new, Oasis used to play here etc etc so were in good company. The night goes really well and they have projections on our bodies as we dance which looked really effective, we even got to dance holding strobe lights on the audience like some robot star wars type girls, good fun. Finished dancing around 2.30 am and hang about to dance with everyone else and get drunk, finally get to bed about 5am very tipsy indeed and exhausted. A few hours kip before driving to Caerphilly tomo to meet Kitty.
Get to hers and get ready for the night before jumping in a cab to Minskys for What the Butler Saw, i love this burlesque night, its so friendly and relaxed and i always have a laugh. Kitty looked awesome in her little black fairy wings for xmas we got a couple of drinks and settled in, mingling with everyone, my friend Dan and his girlfriend Angela along with the amazingly stylish Allie turned up and the party really began. The girls were great as always and a typical night of drinking and decadance was in full swing. Later on we all headed to Buffalo to carry on where Kitty got us drinking coffee tasting cocktails, after all the booze i had during the night they sent me over the edge and as they say i was smashed haha, great fun though and dropped into bed when we got back a little worse for where..its ok its xmas!!

Woke up late and had breakfast with Kitty and a chill out before heading to cardiff to xmas shop with Dan and later Margena, we decided to quit shopping and get drunk insted..it is xmas after all ha. We went to meet Annie for a few drinks as she was out with the girls before going to the pub for a bottle of wine and a good girly chat, had a really nice chilled evening and it was great to just relax and enjoy with no madness. Another enjoyable evening in Cardiff.

Friday i get up late and go to get my car which i left in town near the stadium in a multi storey and the stupid thing wouldnt start!! great!! i had to push it out of the car park space on my own and thankfully got some lovely lady to jump start me bless her, i dont know who you are but you saved the day and i hope lots of kindness goes your way! what a star. Finally got on my way heading back to manc which was a bit annoying because i was going out in Birmingham tonight and had to pass there on my way, the sensible thing would have been to bring my stuff and meet people there but when am i ever sensible?!

Got home about 6, grabbed some food, a shower and a chill before my bro came round and we headed to Birmingham to see Neil Navarra who had kindly guestlisted us for Godskitchen. i couldnt wait, Armin van Burrin and Mickey Slim were playin too so all good!
Had an awesome night dancing on the speakers, esp to Neil's set (and im not just sayin that) and we got our groove on til morning as it was a 6am finish before heading back to crash out for a lazy day as tonight was Kiddfectious in Middlesborough, my last night of my 5 days of raving haha.

Wake up and get ready with my usual routine for this week and pick my bro up and head to Middlesborough to check into the hotel,get ready and have a drink. get there with loads of time to drink and chill and must of got a bit carried away as Mathew text to see where we were as it was almost 10pm..ha we were sat drinking and watching little britain like we had all night so got a move on and headed to meet them at the venue. Straight away it was great because cousin rick and shakey were running the show so we had a catch up and i headed off to grab a drink and meet mathew,trigg, paul and rob round the back. we got our vip passes thanks to maf and got stuck in. We spent the first part of the night backstage and on the side of the stage before me and trigg decided it was way better in the general crowd and moved us all over to there to go mental for god knows how many hours straight ha!! we were all jumping about and going crazy like a bunch of mentalists..happy days!! Alex Kidd was amazing as always, he blows my mind every time, i cant handle it, i think i want to be him haha!! mathew was stood on the side of the dj booth going mental and luckily never dropped off the side-i dont know how playing air guitar ha. We all danced ourselves silly before sadly the music stopped at 4am and absolutley gutted nowhere near done we all relocated to the hotel and waited for shakey to start the second part of the party in his room, there was loads of us there, all our lot and the kidd lot so lots more fun to be had. What a night, i didnt sleep for even a minute which i regret on the way home when i looked like the living dead and was so spaced out i didnt know what was going on but it was well worth it.

dec 9-10th york, vains of jenna

Get up and do the usual stuff including all my emails and gk stuff i need to get done,before getting my stuff ready to go nickys house (vampires rock drummer and awesome dude). Set off late as always and get stuck in major traffic so the 1hr 20 trip takes me at least 3 hours!! not happy but its gonna be a good night so its still worth it. Finally get to nicks about 6ish, get ready to go out, chill with the kittens while nick gets ready and get a cab into town. its so cold its untrue, my teeth are chattering so opt for the nearest restaurant where we got dropped off. Me and Nick settle down and order our food with a bottle of wine to start the night off. The food was gorgeous. After taking our time there and catching up with whats been going on in each others lives away from the show we headed to Fibbers where Vains of Jenna and Viking Skull were, we met up with Phil (ex Kid Ego member and old friend). i hadnt seen him for ages so it was great he was out, Arthur ( vamps keyboardist) joined us and we even bumped into Zakk Kid Ego's old singer! Vains took to the stage then joined us hanging out but again couldnt stay out as they were staying 20 miles away and JP was designated driver, after much persuasion on my part to let everyone come out to the next bar he met me half way and they deciced to stay there until it closed and then set off. Had a laugh catching up with them, i got very drunk for the endless drinks being bought me mainly off nick-cheers dude and lots of the drunken conversation is a blur haha, i remember Phil telling Nicky Vains of Jenna he was gonna kidnap him and something to do with having genitals like a ken doll?! Nicky VOJ decided i looked like Katie Price too tonight, minus the boobs i had to add obviously. After a few hours of mad drunken catching up with the bands the Jenna boys had to leave. I chatted to JP outside for a while and then said my goodbyes to them for probably another year..they aren't in LA anymore which is a shame cos im back over in Jan and they are so LA to me, there back in Sweden for now but hopefully our paths will cross again soon. There great guys and an awesome band, true rock n roll!!
With them sadly gone off in the rock Volvo, me, nick, arthur and phil headed to a late night cocktail bar and continued to inihilated completely until it closed and we got a cab home. Me and Nick got back and made a giant sized jack and coke at 5 am which i couldnt finish i was so gone and thats not me to waste a good jack!! put a film on and fell asleep during the opening credits haha there we go, great night though with some great mates ive known a while.
Got up late and chilled with the Millers who are the kindest and best hosts you will ever meet!
Jordan and birdy were round so we all had lunch there before heading off back to Manc.

saturday

had a bit of an up and down sort of week lots of extreme high points going on and extreme lows.. lifes a bit up in the air at the minute, i did have an amazing saturday though thanks to the great ladies i tought at my workshop, that cheered me up straight away and set me up for a good night ahead. after teaching in blackburn i headed home to change quickly, have a few beers with my bro and then head to the MEN to see The mighty Boosh live, i couldnt wait when i got in there, there was so many people in the audience dressed up it was awesome, there was the usual old greg's and hitcher's but the best i saw had to be a beta max guy with a video tape on his face and a moon with a paper plate and cream all over his face haha!! that cant be comfy for a show.. anyway loved the gig, laughed myself silly and then met my mate steve o'neill at the station as he was going to come to ben's birthday with me and the cast from vampires rock. we all met up and went round a couple of bars before settling in tv21 for a messy drinking night..was great to catch up with everyone and have a laugh, ben was very rock n roll and did not disapoint as the birthday boy, i remember him at one point trying to drink 3 bottles of beer at the same time, drinking a full glass of jaeger and as the bar was closing he insisted on drinking all of his about 6 drinks he had left before leaving, what a star haha, proper smashed he was. good night and day and i felt loads better thanks to all my cool mates.

got up late and chilled, caught up with my emails and normal home stuff before getting ready to go to music box to see my friends from Vains of Jenna who were over here from Sweden touring with Viking Skull so i was looking forward to seeing them all, we did a gig in cardiff barfly supporting viking skull in january of this year so it was set to be a cool night. had a few drinks watching there set, they were awesome as i remember, i havent seen them since i was in LA in Jan as they were living out there when i was over for a while so a few mental parties went on then..this time however they were left to their own devices and had to load and unload themselves as well as drive themselves gig to gig so unfortunately no mad partying for them tonight as they had to travel out of town to where they were staying, shame, we went to party without them in grand central where my bro was pretty proud of himself for making friends with jess margera ( bams bro,cky etc) haha. not a super late one but a good catch up all the same so agreed to do it again in york on the tuesday night, its december its almost xmas so the more patying the better i think!!

november 29th 08 cardiff party night..

Wake up after a week of vampires rock gigs at emilys as last night when we got dropped off at hers at 3am my car wouldnt start, the funny thing is i said exactly that on the way home, i keep doing this lately, im sure im psychic, maybe its since partying with ian lawman maybe he passed on some skills haha anyway i ended up sleeping at emilys and getting up late as we were both shattered from touring. we tried to jump start my car but it was having none of, i wouldnt care on a normal day but i was going to cardiff to stay with annie and adam and had planned it weeks ago. after checking train times which were pointless i borrowed my brothers car and set off finally for my night of catching up and partying that id been looking forward to for ages. Got there about 8 and sat with them watching tv, chatting and drinking while we waited for rob, mag and paul to arrive. think me and annie were pretty drunk by the time they got there and after us all getting carried away chatting we realised it was 1am and we better get a move on. we had got tickets for eric prydz so off we went for a bit of a dance. the club was rammed so didnt stay too long after all and went back to the house to party on our own until i called it quits at 7am!! great night with a great bunch of people, i always have fun with these lot, its just a shame they live so far away..

17th nov..

Get back home off the bus all disorientated as usual..get back to the crap you always face coming home, bills, washing, tidying and unpacking etc..catch up with emails and stuff before having a lazy evening at my mums watching russell brands ponderland and gavin and stacey. only got monday and tuesday off before back with the tour so not much to report in this blog for this week as its all vamps stuff!! Do however get some very bad news via the internet on the tuesday which completely ruins my frame of mind..sounds random but heartbroken and confused pretty much sums up the next couple of weeks in my personal life..say no more..the shows are a blur and i pretty much for the first time feel distracted by the strange occurances going on in my life. i have the best job in the world,im so lucky to travel around doing what i love with people i love and meeting cool people everywhere and going on adventures and i know that but sometimes you lose something you love too and it hurts so much you cant imagine getting over it. im not going to say what it is because some things should be private and all is good now but hey what doesnt kill us makes us stronger..everything happens for a reason etc etc etc...
